Terms of service
These terms apply when you use anyredact.app. By using it, you agree to them.
The service
AnyRedact finds personal information in documents, images, spreadsheets, presentations and recordings with AI, and lets you remove it before you share the file. We may change, add or remove features at any time.
Check every file
Automatic detection misses things and marks things that are not sensitive. You decide what to redact, and you are responsible for reviewing the downloaded file before you share it. AnyRedact is not legal advice and does not make a file compliant with any law or regulation.
Your content
Your files stay yours. You give us permission to process the parts the editor sends, only to provide the service. You must have the right to process the files you open.
Accounts
You need an account only to buy credits. Keep access to your email or Google account secure, since it is how you sign in. You must be 18 or older to buy credits.
Credits and plans
- Every browser gets free credits each day. Unused free credits do not carry over.
- A plan renews each month until you cancel it under Manage plan on your account page. Its credits reset at each renewal and end with the plan.
- Credits bought on their own are paid once and do not expire.
- Free credits are used first, then the plan, then bought credits.
- Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
- Prices are in US dollars and shown on the pricing page.
Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
Acceptable use
Do not use AnyRedact to break the law or anyone's rights, to get around the free limits, to overload or attack the service, to resell it, or to send content meant to manipulate the AI. We may suspend or close an account that does, without a refund for credits used in breach of these terms.
Our content
The site, its code and its text belong to AnyRedact. All rights are reserved.
No warranty
The service is provided as is and as available. We do not promise that it will find all personal information, run without interruption, or suit a particular purpose.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for harm caused by information left in a file you shared. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
Changes
We may update these terms. The new version applies from the date below. If a change reduces your rights, we will email account holders first.
